FAQs

We can assure you that every effort will be made, to ensure that your time with us is a really enjoyable one. However, you may have some questions. here are a few of the questions we have been asked….

Do I need to have practiced yoga previously?

Unless stated, all yoga classes within retreats/ workshops, are suitable for complete beginners. All yoga postures have varying levels and it is important that you recognise that yoga is not a competitive sport and is as individual as you are.

What do I need to wear?

As long as clothing is loose and comfortable, then anything goes. usually leggings/joggers and long t shirt/ vest. during relaxation, the body cools, so it is a good idea to bring along a sweater.

What do I need to bring with me?

Yoga mats will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. You may wish to bring a bottle of water. A blanket and warm socks can also be good to wrap up in, during relaxation.

Do I need to be flexible?

This is the most commonly voiced concern. Yoga is here to help you become more flexible, so definitely not. Yoga has a level for everyones degree of flexibility.

I find it hard to relax…will I be any good at yoga/ mindfulness?

As long as you come along with a desire to allow yoga and mindfulness to relax you, then the magic of these practices will just follow. Both are  lifelong practices…so it is about allowing ourselves to let go of expectations.
